The purpose of this website is to address the problem of falls in long term care facilities and to act as a resource for nursing directors and other caregivers who are seeking to reduce the incidence of falls and fall-related injuries among residents in their facility. This website provides information on how to implement a falls prevention program in a long term care facility by focusing on the following areas:
